In this election Michael G. Scala came in first with 44% of the vote which amounted to 2,319 votes. Helal A. Sheikh came in second and obtained 30% of the vote which amounted to 1,587 votes. Other candidates included William Ruiz who obtained 25% of the vote which amounted to 1,329 votes. The total non-write-in votes in this election were 5,235. This count does not include write-in's.
