In this election Margarita Lopez Torres came in first with 53% of the vote which amounted to 26,108 votes. Meredith R. Jones came in second and obtained 25% of the vote which amounted to 12,221 votes. Other candidates included Elena Baron who obtained 23% of the vote which amounted to 11,150 votes. The total non-write-in votes in this election were 49,479.
