In this election Adriano Espaillat came in first with 91% of the vote which amounted to 231,824 votes. Lovelynn Gwinn came in second and obtained 8% of the vote which amounted to 19,829 votes. Other candidates included Christopher Morris-Perry who obtained 1% of the vote which amounted to 3,295 votes. The total non-write-in votes in this election were 254,948.
