In this election Caroline P. Cohen came in first with 43% of the vote which amounted to 6,653 votes. Alice A. Nicholson came in second and obtained 23% of the vote which amounted to 3,576 votes. Other candidates included Chinyelu O. Udoh who obtained 19% of the vote which amounted to 2,960 votes, and Tehilah H. Berman who obtained 14% of the vote which amounted to 2,197 votes. The total non-write-in votes in this election were 15,386. This count does not include write-ins.
