In this election Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez came in first with 75% of the vote which amounted to 46,577 votes. Michelle Caruso-Cabrera came in second and obtained 18% of the vote which amounted to 11,337 votes. Other candidates included Badrun N. Khan who obtained 5% of the vote which amounted to 3,119 votes, and Samuel H. Sloan who obtained 2% of the vote which amounted to 1,406 votes. The total non-write-in votes in this election were 62,439.
