In this election ANTONIO REYNOSO came in first with 50% of the vote which amounted to 6,205 votes. VITO J. LOPEZ came in second and obtained 37% of the vote which amounted to 4,551 votes. Other candidates included GLADYS SANTIAGO who obtained 8% of the vote which amounted to 967 votes, and HUMBERTO SOTO who obtained 5% of the vote which amounted to 632 votes. The total votes in this election were 12,358.
